Mario Capucciati
Managing Director

Mario is the Managing Director of our company and has been working in the leather industry for over 35 years. In this time, his activity has grown from a family business in the raw hides field to the management of a tannery and now the direction of a service and outsourcing company, always in the leather field. He is Chairman of the National Association of Raw Skin Dealers with offices in Milan. He was also member of the Pricing Committee within the Chamber of Commerce of Milan (CCIAA Milano) and one of the major drafters of the "Accordo Italia" (an agreement laying down clear regulations and standards for raw skin pricing). He has recently become a member of the Italian Board of Rawhide Experts. This wide range of experience has allowed him to get to know the major operators in the market and develop a deep understanding of their requirements. All of this, tied to his high business morality and concern for partners, along with professional character have been infused into his organisation to make it a distinguished supplier of unique, high quality services.


Renata Tansini
Adminstrative Director

After she obtained her Business and Accountancy diploma at the Business and Economics High School of Piacenza, she started working with Mr Mario Capucciati showing great enthusiasm and professional character. She developed a special ability for the management and organisation of every administrative aspect of a rawhide business, including trade and services.


Maurizio Fermi
Operative director

He is the person with the longest experience in the rawhide field. As a child, he worked in a warehouse and soon proved to possess outstanding human qualities and professional skills, which led him to become an excellent manager of a warehouse dealing with over 2,000 wet and dry salted hides and skins per day. His experience and advice have allowed us to develop a new method for refrigerating wet hides at low costs with unbeatable efficiency.


Our Team

Teamwork is essential to provide Agrica services for raw hides and skins. The team is divided into two groups who are responsible for the tasks assigned by Maurizio and Mario on a daily basis. These team members however, have proved capable of working independently to obtain excellent products, each with different features. In this way, our work is never repetitive and relies on flexible people ready to meet new challenges, exactly like the Agrica Leather team!
